We all know those wacky Yankee fans. Always booing something! They were in a particularly irritable mood yesterday in the fifth inning of a home game against the Kansas City Royals as temperatures soared into the 100s ... so much so that they BOOED THE SUN.
Yeah, screw you, giver of life!
Fans showed their approval today when a cloud moved in front of the sun during the fifth inning of the Yankees-Royals game. They booed moments later when the sun returned. On a day when temperatures neared the century mark over much of the eastern United States, any relief was welcome.
In Yankees fans' defense, the sun was batting .192 with runners in scoring position.
